About the Author
A writer from the Great Lakes region, trained as both an economist and an engineer — and, beyond the page, a painter and a passionate plant enthusiast.
Biography
Kanage Kanyamanza brings a background in economics and engineering to fiction that keeps returning to the same question: what actually holds a society together, and what quietly breaks it apart. That training shows in how his novels are built — less around plot mechanics than around the structures, incentives and choices that shape how people behave when the rules change.
He is the author of The Neptersine, a crime novel, and What I Think About When I Pause And Feel, a collection of poems — both available on Amazon. Women Without Men, his forthcoming novel, releases in December.

Beyond the Page
Kanage is also a painter and a passionate plant enthusiast. A first look at his work, below — more is on its way to this section.
